Visceral Studio Company (VSC) was founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Nick Pupillo. In its seventh season, the company is comprised of 19 youth members from the greater Chicago area.

 

VSC is committed to encouraging aspiring dancers to reach their fullest potential by fostering growth in a challenging and positive environment. The company provides support for the continued development of dance without the limitation of a specific style and focuses on strong technique as a means of promoting the exploration of new movement. Its dancers appear in numerous dance festivals and competitions, giving them ample opportunity to gain valuable performance experience.

 

VSC has received both individual and group awards in recognition for the dancers' hard work and dedication. Striving to set an example for leadership and responsibility, the company seeks to make an impact not only in the dance world, but in the larger community as well.
