MAIANA SENA

 

Born in Salvador, Brazil, Maiana Sena began her formal training at Ebateca School where she studied the methodology of Royal Ballet and received her degree. Thereafter, Sena obtained her Professional Degree in Contemporary Dance at the Bolshoi Theatre School in Brazil. While also becoming promoted as a trainer named to their Bolshoi's Young Company. Sena was then invited to Chicago to pursue her career in dance and looks to continue with what the United States has to offer.  Since her introduction to the US, Maiana has danced in: Hubbard Street Chicago’s winter intensive, Thodos Dance Chicago’s New Dances 2014 project, and Aerial Dance Chicago before joining Visceral Dance Chicago.
