Belle Jessen

 

Belle, from Elgin, IL., received her early training at the Gould Academy of Dance Arts, Faubourg School of Ballet and with Visceral Studio Company in her final year of high school. Jessen has spent summers training with most recently, Ate9 Dance Company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, River North Dance Chicago, the San Francisco Conservatory, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet. She is a December 2014 Cum Laude graduate from Point Park University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Jazz concentration. As a part of the Conservatory Dance Company, she had the opportunity to perform works by David Parsons, Kyle Abraham, Randy Duncan, Kevin Iega Jeff, Garfield Lemonius, Kiesha Lalama, Ron Tassone and Kellie Hodges. Belle is thrilled to join the inspiring artists of Visceral Dance Chicago as an apprentice for their third season and would like to thank her family, friends and mentors for their constant love and support.
