Archery has gained widespread interest and popularity, and for good reason – it’s exciting and fun. It is one of the fastest growing sport activities, being enjoyed by young and old alike. Join us and let our experienced staff show you how exhilarating archery can be. And if you are an experienced archer we invite you to explore our advanced and individualized sessions with our champion archers.

All instructors are level 1, 2 or 3 certified by USA Archery, NFAA or National Archery in the School Program. Archery lessons are under the professional guidance of Gary Bruton.

Gary has almost 40 years of experience in bow hunting and competitive shooting. In addition, he has 40 years experience working in simulation and training with the U.S. Air Force.

Kat Stiegel is the 2015 Texas State Women’s Champion Archer & Collegiate All-American Archer at Texas A&M.

Explore Archery

Duration: 1-hour session

Class size: 4

 

This course is for anyone interested in archery but doesn’t know how to begin. You will receive instruction on safety, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, shooting styles and instinctive shooting techniques. Along the way you may learn a little of the storied history of archery.

Beginner Archery

This course is for the beginner archer with emphasis on safety, form, and enhancing newly acquired skills.

Six week session

Class Size: 4 

 

Course focuses on technique and form improvement while introducing the other

equipment styles of Recurve and Compound bows.

Duration: Six 1-hour Sessions

Six week Session

Class Size: 4 

 

This class focuses on tournament style shooting used by many tournament associations worldwide. Participants receive continued input on shooting form and technique as well as advice on personal equipment selection.

Individualized Training

Duration: 1 hour session

 

Session focuses on technique, form, shot process and training regiment. Evaluation of equipment maintenance and tuning is covered during the training period if desired.
